Join Chris Barron as he dives into what to expect now that some of the social distancing and isolation rules have been relaxed.
First of all, Happy Mother's Day to all the great moms out there. I hope you all got to enjoy your day and the weekend. And a happy early Victoria Day to everyone!
With the relaxation of the rules we have been living with since mid-March, it can be expected that we will start to see an increase in listings and with that, an increase in buyer activity and showings. That being said, there is no reason to abandon what has helped BC and Vancouver Island be so successful in making sure we are mitigating the spread of Covid-19.
Buyers, expect your REALTOR to continue to protect themselves, you and the homeowner by wearing a new pair of gloves to each showing and a mask if required. The REALTOR will be responsible for opening doors and turning on lights while it is best for the buyers to keep their hands in their pockets.
Sellers, help out by making sure you turn on all light and open all doors and blinds before leaving. In addition to helping limit contact with the surfaces in your home, these things also make it more inviting, pandemic or not.
We are all doing the best job we can to make sure everyone is safe and healthy and lets keep it going.
