Discover: Faye Smith Rosenblatt Pavilion

Join Chris Barron as he heads to a place he has driven by countless times wondering what it was all about. If you have driven in or out north of Qualicum Beach along Highway 19A you have passed it too. Here is the Faye Smith Rosenblatt Pavilion.

Named after a champion for the environment and advocate for wild salmon, the pavilion stands on the shores of Qualicum Beach and offers amazing views of BC's mainland, the Coastal Mountains, the Gulf Islands, the Straight of Georgia and the Salish Sea.

While visiting the pavilion, be sure to check out all the information placards inside and around the grounds where the pavilion stands. You will find out more about the native species of plants and animals that call our area home. You will also be treated to information on landmarks we see across the Strait of Georgia. Last but not least, you will learn about our impact on our environment and how we can be better environmental stewards for future generations.
