Join me as I head to a very popular spot for a hike, bike ride, a swim in the summer, and generally enjoy the wealth of nature we have in our area, Top Bridge Park!
The highlight of the park is the 81 metres long, three-tower cable suspension bridge which links the north and south banks of the Englishman River. That bridge also joins Top Bridge Regional Trail and the Englishman River Regional Park. That means you could park your car in the Parksville Industrial Park and walk or bike all the way to Middglegate Road in Errington!
I wasn't able to find them on my trip to the park but there are petroglyphs somewhere in the park along the river. If you happen to see them while exploring, let me know so I can see them for myself. Head to Top Bridge to discover another beautiful spot in the Oceanside area!
